Students

For the 2017-18 academic year, there are a total of 130 students enrolled across all programmes and campuses. The men and women who study in these FTC programmes range in age from their twenties to their sixties and above. Many of them have prior experience in pastoral ministry and some of them are able to continue their pastoral work while studying. While the majority of these students are from Kenya, others are from Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and occasionally other African countries. In addition, students come from other Christian denominations and are warmly welcomed into the FTC community.

The student government provides students a chance to gain leadership experience and provides an opportunity for students to express concerns to the FTC leaders. The Dean of Students provides oversight to the student government and advises on appropriate processes for expressing concerns to the FTC administration.
