Friends Theological College has been happy to welcome a number of students from neighboring countries in East Africa. Almost every cohort of students includes some from Uganda and Tanzania. English tutoring is offered to those needing to strengthen their English skills, especially those from non-English speaking countries. There are frequently students from Central Africa — Rwanda, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, who seek admission to FTC and enroll. The presence of significant numbers of Friends churches in East and Central Africa makes FTC a suitable place for students from those countries to continue their theological and ministry studies.
